Havering falls prevention and bone health strategy

Falls prevention and bone health  - two new services launch in Havering on 1 February 2012

Two new falls services will be provided in Havering starting on 1 February 2012 - the Community Falls Exercise Programme; and the Falls Prevention Outreach Service which will give residents in care homes and clients on the telecare alarm system more support to help prevent falls.

The services will be provided by means of a contract variation with the existing Falls Clinic operating from St George’sHospital, making it a ‘one-stop shop’ creating a streamlined falls pathway for patients in Havering.
